THOUGHT TO HAVE been taken at the home of Renee and Ted Gold in Strathmore Park, this image offers an intriguing (if not altogether politically correct) glimpse of Jewish social life in that era. The rear of the photo bears a stamp that reads "Ronald D. Woolf, 33 Coutts St., Kilbirnie, Wellington".
